Here's a new tag for you: What is your favorite Bible verse? Also, tell me about a major blessing in your life.
Shown here are two major blessings of my life, my daughters.
My favorite Bible verses have varied throughout the years, depending on what God was doing in my life at the time. In high school, my favorite was Matt. 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." When I had cancer, I loved Ps. 42:11 "Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, my salvation and my God." Becoming a mother made me fond of Eph. 6:1 "Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right." What parent doesn't like that one?
But overall my favorite Bible verse is Phil. 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
Please leave a comment with your answers to my tags! THANKS!

My current favorite is Micah 6:8
He has Shown You oh man what is good, but what does he require of you? But to do justly to love mercy and walk humbly with your lord.
A major blessing of mine is having a large family. When I wake up each morning I know that there will never be a dull moment. at times of course I sometimes wish I was alone but God Always shows me why My family is so important. He has shown me a lot over this last Summer when we went up to Wyoming.
This last June I experienced one of the thousands of highlights of God's Creation and that was Yellow Stone. the Beauty of it was indescribable.
I know I am blessed richly when it comes to my parents. They have a great place in my heart.
This was a really uplifting Post. Thanks for the pics. Where were they taken?
Yes, Micah 6:8 is an excellent verse. I like it, too.
It's great that you have a large family. I was raised as an only child, so a large family does indeed sound fun! Do you like homeschooling?
Yellowstone is so incredible! Did you go to Grand Tetons also (it's nearby)? Did you see wildlife there? Our family really appreciated all of the animals we saw at Yellowstone.
Bonnie's picture was taken at the cabin on our recent trip to Minnesota. I think she took it herself when she went for a walk down by the lake. Why she needed her ipod for that, I do not know! Her sister's picture was taken outside our back door, along with our cat Snowdrop who is a cutie.
Thanks for answering my tag!
Hm...I'll go blog tomorrow...
I took my ipod to enhance the moment...on my walk...
That was a good post, mom.
My current favorite is 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
1Cr. 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.
1Cr 9:25 Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
1Cr 9:26 So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air.
1Cr 9:27 But I discipline my body and keep it under control,[fn2] lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.
A major blessing of mine is being homeschooled. I like homeschooling a lot more than I think I would a regular school. Another blessing is having brothers. I helps me learn responsibility and gives me two best friends. I am also blessed by being in the Boy Scouts of America. It helps me learn survival skills and leadership. And without my parents none of that would happen.
